Enjoying "Friends with Benedicts" at Flint Creek Cattle Co.

Flint Creek Cattle Co. is one of the greatest restaurants in Seattle (and it's not just me who is saying that). The atmosphere of this restaurant is great, there is always a hustle and bustle of people enjoying a great meal here any night of the week, and literally everything on them menu will make you say "Oh, this is soooooo good".I have had the privilege of dining here for dinner and happy hour a few times now and each time Flint Creek amazes me more and more. And that is why I got so excited when they started teasing the idea of offering brunch here. The tease of brunch started on their Instagram account (which is a great account to follow if you love #foodgrams). They announced they were going to do a pop-up brunch session on Sunday, July 21st and that reservations would only be taken by phone to secure your spot at brunch. I was not able to make it in for the pop-up brunch but the following week they announced that brunch was happening again the next weekend so I cleared my calendar and made a reservation because I knew I could not miss out on trying it.I secured one of the earlier reservations on a Saturday morning so it was nice and quiet when were first seated for brunch. After taking my first look at the menu I knew it was going to be a tough decision to choose what to get. I know everything on the menu at Flint Creek is going to be amazing but brunch was a new experience here so I felt a lot of pressure to make the right decision. Once I got a cup of coffee in hand and looked at the menu some more I had picked out a couple of things that I wanted to try.Flint Creek Brunch MenuWe first started off with the Sour Cream Coffee Cake to add some sweetness to the morning since we both decided on more savory mains for our brunch. The coffee cake was just so good and looked so beautiful. The berries were fresh and ripe and the little caramel drizzle was perfection.Flint Creek Coffee CakeFor the main dish, I chose the buttermilk biscuits with ham, eggs, gravy, and potatoes, while my boyfriend got himself one of the benedicts. I was very grateful to have a "friend with bendicts" at brunch because I was eyeing out trying one of those myself and I was able to snag a couple of bites of his while enjoying my biscuit breakfast.Flint Creek BrunchAlso, I almost forgot to mention that I couldn't help myself and had get a side of heirloom tomatoes to add to our brunch. I couldn't help myself since it is the prime season for them and I knew they would be delicious and I wanted to add a vegetable to my savory brunch. There is no way for me to describe how delicious the brunch at Flint Creek Cattle Co. was. It was out of this world and well worth the wait to get to try it. I still can't get over how amazing it was. I truly don't have the words to tell you how much I loved this meal. As we were eating, I had to stop myself from saying "This is absolutely amazing" after every single bite but I still said it so much over the whole time we were at brunch. It's just so amazing that you need to go and check it out for yourself.

Flint Creek is continuing on its brunch service every weekend now from 9am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Be sure to make a reservation to secure your spot to enjoy a wonderful brunch (or dinner) here. And remember, brunch is the most important meal of the day (or really the week)!
