Tastes of T-Mobile Park - Shug's

One of the many new additions to the ballpark this year has been Shug's Soda Fountain & Ice Cream. They have two stands in the ballpark, by sections 152 (along the first base side) and on the main concourse in center field (above the bullpens). I was already familiar with Shug's since I have been to their ice cream parlor down by Pike Place Market a few times so I knew I would love to have them in the ballpark this season.Shug's is a great option for ice cream at the ballpark because they serve a long list of favors every game. There's no mini helmets for your ice cream here, but it is high quality ice cream that you are getting and you get to pick from a variety of flavors. I have also noticed that the menu of flavor options does change a bit from game-to-game.If it isn't obvious, I already loved the ice cream the Shug's serves. So, my review of Shug's is not really focused on the ice cream itself. It's focused on the fact that Shug's can make you a prosecco float at the ballpark!A prosecco float isn't something you expect - especially at the ballpark - but it's great. You get a scoop of peach sorbet in one of the little ballpark wine cups and prosecco poured on top and it's delicious! It's a little hard to decide how to attack it, but no matter how you do it the float tastes great. It's so fun to get a little bubbly at the ballpark now! Cheers!
