Tastes of T-Mobile Park - The Deal of the Day

Ballpark food is expensive. But have you heard about what the Mariners have been up to with the "Deal of the Day"?I first became aware of the "Deal of the Day" last season with the few games I went to and if you were paying attention to the scoreboard a graphic would come up saying that there was a "Deal of the Day". The "Deal of the Day" varied and there wasn't always one for every game but it has come back this season and every game there is now a "Deal of the Day". Some of the deals are better than others, but here's some of the deals that they have done this season:

  • $4 slices from High Cheese Pizza
  • $5 Footlong Hot Dogs
  • $3 for a 22oz. Soda
  • $3 Cracker Jacks
  • $3 Junior Mariner Dogs
  • $1 Red Rope

Personally, my favorite "Deal of the Day" is the footlong hot dog. It's not a food item that I would chose to buy any other time because there is so much good and different food to try out at the ballpark, but it truly is one of the greatest values when they offer this that I can't pass it up. Plus a baseball game and a hot dog is such a classic combination that it's always a great decision to make while you're at the ballpark.Deal of the Day - Footlong Hot Dog
If you're headed to the ballpark and curious about the "Deal of the Day", the easiest way to find out what the "Deal of the Day" is can be done via the MLB Ballpark app. The MLB Ballpark app isn't the most user-friendly app but finding the "Deal of the Day" on it is pretty simple. If the Mariners are your selected team in the app, click their logo and then an icon with "Deal of the Day" is one of the first you will see when the Park Info tab is open. Once you click that icon the deals for the current home stand or two will be listed out and you can scout out the best deals for your trip to the ballpark. If you didn't get a chance to check this out before you get to the ballpark the announcers usually do a good job of mentioning the deal a few times before the game and during the early innings to let fans know about what is going on. Additionally, if you follow @TMobileParkEats on Twitter you will sometimes see a tweet about the deals but lately most of their tweets have been about specialty food nights, such as Sriracha night and vegan nights.
