Jonas Brothers (Year 2019, Not 3000)

Happiness begins when you finally get to see the Jonas Brothers perform live ❤ I have been a Jonas Brothers fan for the longest time but I never got to see them perform together in concert before the band broke up in 2013. However, I did get to see Nick Jonas perform twice before the band got back together. The first time I saw Nick Jonas in person was at the Showbox at the Market (#savetheshowbox) ahead of Nick's self-titled album in 2014. That show was an absolute blast for me because it was a standing room only show and I was right up, front and center of the stage. The second time I got to see Nick Jonas was in 2016 when he was on tour with Demi Lovato on the Future Now tour. The tour with Demi was an arena tour so it was a completely different environment to see Nick perform in. Nick has always been my favorite of the JoBros but each time I saw him perform I always thought about what it would be like to see the whole band back together again.Nick Jonas 2014
Come Spring 2019, my dream finally came true. It was announced that the Jonas Brothers were finally coming back together. From the second they released their first single back together I knew that whenever they would go back on tour I would finally get to see them perform together. ❤I was not the only one feeling this way. Once the tour was announced myself and all of my friends that grew up listening to the Jonas Brothers were all trying to get the early access codes to the tour so we could buy tickets. The friend that I ended up going to the concert with, neither one of us got to buy tickets early but we were both primed and ready to buy tickets the second they went on sale. We ended up getting the tickets we were aiming for and when we got to the venue we were not disappointed in the tickets we ended up with and knew that no matter where we were going to end up there, as long as we were in the building we were going to have a great time and live out one of our childhood dreams.
Finally the day came for me to see the Jonas Brothers play all together live in concert. The day was Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at the Tacoma Dome. We got to the venue early so we had plenty of time to get our merchandise and watch the openers. The sets of the openers took quite awhile, along with sets from a DJ before and after each of the two openers went on stage. It took awhile to get through the opening part of the show, which was really frustrating to me because everyone that showed up was there for the JoBros and it took so long before we finally got introduced to them. It had taken so long for me to finally get to a Jonas Brothers concert that I was extra impatient with waiting through some long opening acts. But eventually, the Jonas Brothers took the stage and that's all that really mattered that night.Jonas Brothers 2019
Once the Jonas Brothers came on the stage all of the years of waiting to see them disappeared and I just enjoyed the moment. The concert was the perfect mix of the "Happiness Begins" album and all of the classics that I knew and loved as a tween and teen. Most of the crowd around me were others in their 20s that had listened to the JoBros while they were younger and knew every word to every song just like I did but were respectful of everyone around them and all just wanted to enjoy the moment and love every second of this Jonas Brothers concert. JBros 2019I cannot express enough how much it meant to me to finally see the Jonas Brothers perform live. The whole concert was such a joy and I especially appreciated how there were moments of the show designated for each brother to have their own moment, showing that they are individuals and have had their own interests and paths in the past, but then come back together and perform as a group and show that they are really enjoying the moment they are having now. All in all, truly happiness begins when your dream finally comes true of seeing the Jonas Brothers live in concert. 🎵
